Employees' status and the definition

When managing employees in Swingvy, different statuses indicate their current account status or employment state. Below is an overview of the various employee statuses and their definitions.

  • Pending onboarding
    The employee has not yet activated their account because the invite date is set for a future date. Once the invite date arrives, the employee will receive an email invitation to activate their account and set their password.
  • Onboarding
    The employee has not activated their account, but the invite date has already passed. In this case, please advise the employee to activate their account using the invitation email sent to their inbox.
  • Active
    The employee has successfully activated their account and set their password. They have full access to the system based on their assigned permissions.
  • Offboarding
    The employee is scheduled for termination, but the resigned date is set for a future date. Once the invite date arrives, the employee's account will be inaccessible.
  • Resigned
    The employee has left the company, and their status has been updated accordingly in the system.

Next Steps

  • If an employee is in the Pending onboarding or Onboarding status, ensure they check their email inbox (including spam/junk folders) for the activation link.

  • If an employee has trouble activating their account, an admin can resend the invitation email from the employee’s profile.

  • Employees marked as Resigned will no longer have access to their account unless reonboarded by an admin.
