Types of payroll reports that can be downloaded in Swingvy Payroll

Swingvy provides 3 types of payroll reports - Payroll report, Variance report, and Bank files.  

Report Name

Description

Payroll report (Monthly payroll, ad hoc payroll or mid-month payroll)

The payroll report is a quick way to see the summary of each payroll you run on Swingvy. The payroll report can be downloaded during or after the ad hoc, mid-month and month-end payroll.

In the Excel formatted report, you may review the payroll information in 3 different views:

  • Employee: payroll information of each employee
  • Department: payroll information is aggregated by each department.
  • Office: payroll information aggregated by each office

Please note that the employees listed in the Department and Office view are based on your account settings at the point when you download this report.

Payroll report (Multiple months)

The Payroll report (Multiple months) allows you to filter for payroll information of selected employees for a selected period. You may download the report via Payroll > Payroll report

There are 2 different types of views available for this report:

  1. Aggregated view: sit reflects each employee’s aggregated data of the selected period
  2. By month: A monthly break down of each employee’s payroll information

Variance report

The variance report allows you to compare your current month's payroll information to the previous month's payroll information. 

Note that variance report can only be downloaded during or after the month-end payroll and it will include all information from the month's ad hoc, mid-month and month-end payroll.

Bank files

If you intend to pay employees in bulk by using online banking, you can do so by using Bank Files or Bank Payment Files (BIF) Swingvy provides. To make an online transaction, simply download the file from Swingvy and upload the file to the bank using online banking
